The North East Chinese Association have organised a day trip to Whitby on Tuesday 19th August 2014.<\/p>\n

This historic small fishing town is part of the Heritage Coast of North East England.<\/p>\n

Whitby has been home to a highly successful fishing fleet.<\/p>\n

The famous Captain James Cook learnt his seamanship skills on colliers sailing in Whitby.<\/p>\n

Many historic buildings such as St.Mary\u2019s church which is magnificently perched at the top of a superb fight of 199 steps. This wonderful church contains many fine examples of early 18th century craftsmanship.<\/p>\n

Good walking shoes are strongly advised!<\/p>\n

There are lots of attractions to be found in and around Whitby and the shopping experience is excellent with many shops selling ornaments and jewellery made from the famous Whitby Jet.<\/p>\n

Time: 8.45am at Stowell Street (Entrance where Fujiyama and Hanahana is located, the coach will set off at 9:00am).<\/p>\n
